Gazete Mikdat Bedirxan taraf\u0131ndan haz\u0131rlan\u0131p yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu gazete, ilk K\u00fcrt\u00e7e gazete oldu\u011fundan sahibi ve yay\u0131nc\u0131s\u0131 Mikdat Bedirxan ilk K\u00fcrt gazetecisi olarak kabul edilmi\u015ftir. Gazetenin ilk be\u015f say\u0131s\u0131 Kahire\u2019de Mikdat Bedirxan taraf\u0131ndan, Mikdat Bedirxan vefat\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan karde\u015fi Abdurrahman Bedirxan, gazetenin di\u011fer say\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 \u0130svi\u00e7re ve \u0130ngiltere\u2019de yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u00fcrdistan Gazetesi 1898&#8217;den 1902&#8217;ye kadar toplam 31 say\u0131 yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Gazete K\u00fcrt\u00e7e olarak yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. A\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 olarak Kurmanci leh\u00e7esi tercih edilse de, Sorani leh\u00e7esiyle de \u015fiirler yay\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ehmed\u00ea Xan\u00ee&#8217;nin Mem \u00fb Z\u00een&#8217;i ve \u015eerefxan\u00ea Bedl\u00ees\u00ee&#8217;nin \u015eerefnamesi ilk defa b\u00f6l\u00fcmler halinde bu gazetede yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u00fcrdistan Gazetesi\u2019nin \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131 modern anlamda ulusal ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel bilin\u00e7lenmeye zemin haz\u0131rlam\u0131\u015f ve yeni bir s\u00fcrecin ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. Bu tarihten itibaren K\u00fcrt\u00e7e bir\u00e7ok gazete ve dergi yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
